The Westin Brisbane opened its doors in November 2018 to mark the brand’s debut in Queensland. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel is an exquisite urban retreat for leisure and business travellers, with a focus on health and wellbeing. Part of a mixed-use development called Mary Lane, the hotel is within walking distance of various downtown attractions, including the Queen Street Mall, Eagle Street Pier, Botanic Gardens and South Bank Parklands. The 299 rooms and suites all feature floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide panoramic city or river views and bathe guests in natural light.

Guests are also treated to Westin’s trademark in-room amenities, including the famous Heavenly Bed and Sleep Well lavender balm, which help to ensure a good night’s sleep. This focus on comfort doesn’t come at the expense of gadgetry however; each room is also fully connected with USB ports, 55-inch LED TVs, smartphone docks and Chromecast streaming technology. Marriott International’s Westin brand has evolved into a concept for travellers who care about staying fit and healthy when they travel, and the facilities at The Westin Brisbane reflect this focus. Guests can train at the WestinWORKOUT® fitness centre, swim or take part in aqua-aerobics classes in the 300 square metre pool, join yoga and Pilates classes on the pool deck, or even participate in the RunWESTIN™ programme, with 5km or 8km running routes through the city. The hotel also lends exercise gear to guests.

Alternatively, guests who book the club rooms or suites can enjoy breakfast, refreshments and professional services at the Executive Lounge.
