Schilthorn earned this nickname as the panoramic revolving restaurant at the summit, Piz Gloria, was featured in the 1969 James Bond movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. Outdoor 007 WALK OF FAME

The world’s first 007 WALK OF FAME – where cast and crew members of «On Her Majesty’s Secret Service» leave their traces at the legendary Bond movie location.


The Thrill Walk leads down into the vertical walls of the imposing rock massif. Visitors walk along a 200-metre cliff pathway under Birg cableway station, a spine-tingling mountain experience not for the faint-hearted!

The restaurant rotates around its own axis in 45 minutes, gliding past more than 200 mountain peaks. Enjoy the spectacular view as you sample a wide range of dishes from snacks to regional specialities.

Change trains at Interlaken Ost for Lauterbrunnen, where a postbus takes you to the valley station of the Schilthorn aerial cableway in Stechelberg. The aerial cableway departs every 30 minutes.
